Whether intentional or not, an obsessive focus on Israel’s actions while keeping silent on dozens of other conflicts is often antisemitic in practice. The Israeli-Arab conflict is nothing special. There are numerous land disputes, numerous religious conflicts, numerous occupations, numerous people’s seeking independence, numerous refugee problems. There is no good reason why the dispute of an area approximately the size of Wales thousands of miles from the UK ranks so highly on the agenda of some in the UK.
